THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and, to promote health and wellness. From a light, relaxation massage to deep tissue, this massage is fully customizable to fit your specific wants and needs. This service is available in a 60, 90, or 120 minute session.

ASHIATSU BAR THERAPY

Ashiatsu Bar Therapy is barefoot massage. Massage oil is applied to the body and soft, clean bare feet give a rhythmic and deep massage. Parallel bars are overhead, used for the therapist's balance and control. Ashiatsu's effectiveness come from using the broad, soft surface of the foot, creating a stretch to the muscle fibers and release of the surrounding fascia. This modality is perfect for those who desire deep tissue work but still want to experience a truly relaxing massage. Ashiatsu is referred to as, "The deepest and most luxurious massage on the planet." This service is available in a 60, 90, or 120 minute session.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports Massage is designed to help prevent injuries, maintain and prepare the body for physical activity, and to aid in recovery from workouts and injuries. This modality can also help with chronic pain, restricted range of motion, and aching muscles. During the session the therapist uses a wide variety of techniques such as trigger point therapy, fascial release, and fascial stretching to release the tension and restriction in the muscles caused by repetitive movements. This service is available in 60, 90, or 120 minute sessions.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE + CUPPING

A combination of therapeutic massage and cupping! Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which localized suction is created on the skin. Cupping can be used for many purposes such as reducing pain and inflammation, and improving relaxation, circulation, and sense of well-being. Cupping will be applied to different areas of the body throughout the massage based on the individual needs of the client. This service is available in a 60, 90, or 120 min session.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY

Myofascial Release Therapy is a massage technique that targets deep fascial layers to reduce pain, increase range of motion, and improve posture. It hydrates & nourishes connective tissues, benefiting joints, muscles, organs, and the nervous system by using long, sustained holds, joint mobilization, and stretching to the different regions of the body. This is a semi-clothed session so please wear appropriate shorts and tops. Please also avoid the use of body lotion or oil prior to your appointment. This service is available in a 60, 90, or 120 min session.

PRENATAL MASSAGE

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the changes of pregnancy. This massage enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation, and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. This specialized approach to massage can ease discomfort associated with pregnancy, help the mother-to-be prepare for labor, and give her nurturing, emotional support. This service is available in a 60 or 90 minute session.

ZenLeaf Infusion can be added to any of our services with the exception of Prenatal Massage.

THAI BODYWORK

Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions. This technique is applied while the client lies fully clothed on a soft, comfortable mat on the floor. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so that you may move freely throughout the session. There is constant contact between the client and practitioner, but rather than manipulating the soft tissue as you would during traditional Swedish massage, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. You will be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, which, when combined with deep static and rhythmic pressures, delivers a truly relaxing experience. This service is available in a 60 or 90 minute session.

TABLE THAI

Table Thai combines the therapeutic benefits of traditional massage with Thai stretching techniques. The goal of this service is to improve muscle function and flexibility. This service is available in a 60 or 90 minute session.

REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the hands or feet to promote wellness in other parts of the body. These points correspond to different organs, glands, and other structures in the body. Massaging these points can stimulate energy pathways and unblock and blockages. The goal of this modality is to help the body's natural healing process and restore balance, and can also ease stress and pain. This service is available in a 60 or 90 min session, or as an add-on service to any Therapeutic Massage service scheduled with Misty.

SOUND THERAPY​

Sound Therapy is a meditative practice throughout which the client is "bathed" in sound and vibrations from various acoustic instruments such as chimes, singing bowls, and tuning forks. The intention of Sound Therapy is to provide the client with a deeply relaxing and sonically harmonious environment, that supports regulation and restoration. Sound Therapy has been shown to reduce stress, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression, while increasing an overall sense of well-being. This service is offered as an add-on to any 90 or 120 min Therapeutic Massage sessions with Christina or James.
